Beautiful coin showing Ancient Greek inscription around seated Zeus (appears as dots).

This listing is made to order, meaning I will make the pendant and ship within three weeks. The first two pictures are of the coin. The third image is an example of as similar coin set in a sterling silver bezel setting. Please let me know if you prefer a bezel or prong setting. Note I currently have a similar coin for sale (already set in silver).


Comes with certificate which guarantees authenticity and provides background information (listed below) on the acquired coin

Seleukid Empire, Philip I Philadelphos Silver tetradrachm

Obverse: diademed head to right
Reverse: Zeus Nikephoros seated to left on throne, holding sceptre; [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟY to right, ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟYΣ ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΟY to left, monogram under throne, T in exergue; all within laurel wreath

Struck at an uncertain eastern mint (possibly Antioch), circa 95-75 BC
