LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (18.5mm, 7.84 g, 8h). Wreathed head of Demeter left / Barley ear with leaf to left; above leaf, griffin springing right; ΛY below leaf. Johnston Class C, 6.11 (same dies); HN Italy 1589. Lightly toned, struck with worn obverse die, minor flan flaws on reverse. VF.
